제주대병원, 도내 심폐소생술 교육기관 지정

제주대학교병원(병원장 김상림)은 지난 5월 26일 대한심폐소생협회(KACPR, Korean Association of CardioPulmonary Resuscitation)로부터 BLS TS (심폐소생술 교육기관, Basic Life Support Traing Site)으로 지정받았다고 13일 밝혔다.

BLS TS (심폐소생술 교육기관)지정
본원이 지난 5월 26일 대한심폐소생협회(KACPR, Korean Association of CardioPulmonary Resuscitation)로부터 BLS TS (심폐소생술 교육기관, Basic Life Support Traing Site)으로 지정받았다.
KACPR은 대한응급의학회와 대한순환기학회 등이 참여하여 우리나라에 맞는 심폐소생술에 관한 연구와 지침 제정, 교육 및 보급에 관한 전담 기구의 역할을 하고 있으며, 미국심장협회(AHA, American Heart Association)와 ITO 계약을 체결하여 국제적인 교육프로그램을 통한 심폐소생술 교육에 앞장서고 있다.
이러한 심폐소생술 교육의 중심이 되는 역할을 하도록 지정된 장비, 시설 및 강사를 갖춘 기관을 대상으로 BLS TS로 지정하고 있으며, BLS TS에서 공인된 교육과정을 마치고 평가를 통과하면 AHA가 발급하는 심폐소생술에 관한 인증카드를 발급해 주고 있다.
본원은 도내 의료기관으로는 처음으로 BLS TS로 지정되어 오는 6월 30일 ‘보건의료인을 위한 BLS provider과정’을 시행할 예정이다.
향후 지역 내 의료기관 종사자, 양호교사, 의과대학생, 간호대학생 등으로 교육 대상을 확대해 나갈 계획이며, ‘일반인을 위한 심폐소생술 과정’에도 관심 있는 공무원, 지역 주민, 대학생, 교직원 등을 대상으로 교육을 시행할...
