많은 블로거들이 블로깅에 참여하면서 블로고스피어가 팽창하고 있습니다. 초등학생 블로거도 등장하면서, 누구나(?) 블로깅을 해야 하는 시대가 도래할 듯 하고, 블로깅이 웹 2.0 시대의 소통 도구로 자리 잡고 있는 듯 한데, 기왕 블로깅을 하려면, 즐겁게 블로깅 (즐블)하고 싶다는 생각이 듭니다. 여태까지 블로깅해 오면서 부족했던 세 가지 Cs (Contents, Communication, Continuity)를 신경써 보면, 즐거운 블로깅을 할 수 있을 것 같습니다.
1. Contents (내용)
좋은 내용을 담고 있는 블로그가 블로거나 독자에게 즐거움을 줄 수 있습니다. 잘 작성된 포스트가 읽기에 좋은 것은 당연하고, 블로그의 주제에 어울리는 글에 더하여 그림, 동영상, 음악, ... 등 멀티미디어의 활용도 늘어나고 있는 추세입니다.
블로그에 좋은 내용을 담아 내기 위해서는 더 공부가 필요할 것 같습니다. 많이 읽고, 많이 생각하고, 많이 써 봄으로써 좋은 글을 쓸 수 있다는 말처럼, 블로거의 생각을 잘 전달하는 글솜씨도 필요하고, 본문에 그림을 삽입하는 경우, '사용자 삽입 이미지'라는 태그 보다는 그림을 요약 설명하는 태그를 사용하거나, 그림의 해상도를 본문의 폭에 맞추어 조절하는 등의 노력을 더하면 좋은 내용의 포스트 작성에 도움이 될 것 같습니다. 구글 유투브나 다음 티비팟 등의 동영상 공유 싸이트 및 팟캐스트 등의 기술을 이용한 멀티미디어 삽입으로 포스트를 생동감 있게 만들 수 있을 것입니다.
2. Communication (소통)
독자들과의 교류, 소통이 없다면, 고립된 섬과 같은 블로그가 되고 말 수 있습니다. 독자와의 소통을 위한 도구로 기능을 발휘할 때 블로그의 진정한 위력이 발휘될 것입다.
RSS, 댓글, 트랙백, 백링크 등의 기술이 활용되고 있고, 이 기능들을 잘 활용한다면 블로거와 독자들의 원활한 소통이 이루어질 수 있을 것입니다.
3. Continuity (지속성)
짧게 끝나는 블로깅은 즐거운 블로깅이 되기 어려울지도 모릅니다. 꾸준히 이어져야 즐거운 블로깅에 성공할 가능성이 높아집니다. 반짝 인기를 얻는 블로그라도 지속적인 포스트 발행이 없다면, 혜성처럼 일순간 반짝이고 사라지게 될 수 있습니다. 간혹 악플에 상처 입고 절필하는 블로거도 있고, 생업이 너무 바빠서 블로깅을 못하기도 하고, 도메인 유지 비용, 호스팅 유지 비용 때문에 블로깅을 그만 두기도 합니다. 이러한 제약들을 슬기롭게 극복하고 지속적으로 포스트를 쏟아 낸다면 즐거운 블로깅이 될 수 있을 것 같습니다. 매일, 주 2회, 주 1회, ... 등 다양한 주기로 발행해 볼 수 있고, 태터앤미디어는 주 2회 이상의 발행을 권장했습니다.
이렇게 세 가지 Cs (Contents, Communication, Continuity)를 충족시키는 블로깅을 할 수 있다면 좋으련만... ^^;
