저는 구글사 인수 이전부터 FeedBurner를 이용하고 있었습니다. 이번에 TotalStats와 MyBrand라는 서비스가 무료화되었는데, 내 도메인을 이용한 RSS Feed를 가능하게 해 주는 MyBrand 서비스 사용을 신청해 보았습니다.

Sing in 을 클릭하고 로그인합니다.

로그인 직후 화면에서 제 계정의 현황을 한 눈에 보여 주는 화면을 만나게 됩니다.

My Accout 탭을 클릭합니다.

MyBrand 클릭하면 다음과 같은 화면을 볼 수 있는데,

request MyBrand activation 링크는 publishers@feedburner.com 앞으로 MyBrand Request from FeedBurner User: '자신의 FeedBurner User ID' 의 제목으로 된 메일을 발송할 수 있는 메일 링크입니다.
MyBrand activation을 요청하는 메일을 발송하고 하루 정도 지나서 DNS 설정 안내 메일을 받을 수 있습니다. 이후 다시 FeedBurner에 로그인해서 My Account 탭을 확인해 보면, 다음 그림 처럼 feeds.mydomain.com 형식의 도메인을 지정할 수 있는 창을 만날 수 있습니다.

네임 서버 설정의 CNAME 항목을 변경하면 되는 것이니까, DNS Ever 를 이용하였습니다.

위와 같이 설정한 뒤 웹브라우저를 통해 feeds.chunghyewon.com 에 접속해 보면 FeedBurner 초기 화면이 나타나게 됩니다.

서비스가 활성화되었다고 표시됩니다.
이런 절차를 거쳐서 새로 만든 Feed 주소는 feeds.ChungHyewon.com/ChungHyewonDotCom 입니다.
무척 긴 feed 주소입니다. 도메인 뒤에 이어지는 주소도 변경할 수 있습니다만, 선점된 주소는 사용할 수 없더군요. 그래서, feeds.chunghyewon.com/rss 등으로 짧게 설정할 수 있기를 기대했는데, 안되더군요.
처음 사용하던 주소 feeds.feedburner.com/ChungHyewonDotCom 에서 feedburner만 chunghyewon으로 바뀌게 된 것입니다.
요약:
아쉬운 점:
- FeedBurner.com 로그인 > MyAccout > MyBrand > request MyBrand activation
- 24시간 정도 지나서 설정 안내 메일 수령
- 네임 서버 설정: feeds.mydomain.com CNAME feeds.feedburner.com.
- 다시 FeedBurner.com 로그인 > MyAccout > MyBrand 창에서 feeds.mydomain.com 입력하고 Activate 버튼 클릭
- 블로그 스킨에 새로 만든 feed 주소 등록
아쉬운 점:
- 내 도메인을 사용하지만, 도메인 하위 주소를 내 마음대로 바꿀 수는 없다
